Some of the best features of my time at KIS have been the experiences I’ve gained from school trips. Contributing towards the clean up of the flooded Penampang school, which is something I am really proud of. The sixth form biology trip to Mantanani provided me with an amazing insight into the biodiversity of Borneo. This is really important for my further Biological studies at university. One of the best things about the sixth form at KIS is the liberty and trust we receive from our teachers. In the near future I hope to pursue a career in the biological sciences, at the university of Manchester. I am really interested in the topics of anatomy and conservation for the future of healthcare and the planet.
