Celebration Calendar of Activities

21st February 2023

The milestone of reaching 50 years is an incredible achievement, and the special assembly hosted by our Principal, Dr. Gross on Tuesday was a brilliant way to kick-off the celebrations! With a packed audience of Key Stage 2-5 students, teachers, and staff, Dr. Gross began by introducing an accomplished ex-student, Ar. James Wong Kein Peng , Director of JWA Design & Build Sdn Bhd , co-founder of Uinah Sdn Bhd and serial entrepreneur who shared his fond memories of the 10 years he spent at KIS and delivered an inspiring speech motivating everyone to approach the future with an open mind and positive attitude.
The assembly was also graced with delightful speeches from ex-principals, such as Mr. David Hankinson, Mr. Martin Spice, Mr. Stuart McClay, and Mr. Alan Connah, who took us on a sentimental journey down memory lane, evoking memories in the many staff and students who once knew them. And as the perfect way to connect KIS’s past with its future, we welcomed Mr. Sam Gipson, the incoming principal, to the assembly as well!

Gala Dinner Table Availability & Layout by 50th Anniversary Committee

Dear Parents & Guardians,

As you will already know, we have started celebrating our 50th anniversary for KIS this year, and we have organised a number of exciting events to mark this momentous occasion. However, we need your support to ensure that these events are a success. As a part of the celebrations, we have planned to make a meaningful contribution to charity by raising RM50,000 over the course of the year.

Join us in the celebration by helping us in our fundraising efforts! Your contribution, big or small is very much appreciated and will add a sparkle to the jubilee!
