Year 9 and Year 10 students recently attended a brief presentation ceremony to congratulate all the participants and announce the winners of the recent 'NGO Relief Action Day' simulation that proved such an exciting experience for all concerned.
International Week at KIS concluded with a fun morning of International Sports from around the world and some presentations to our Secondary students who had impressed their peers and teachers during the week with their attitude and achievements.
It was project day in the Secondary School today with Year 7 and Year 8 students investigating the issues associated with 'Fair Trade' whilst Year 9 and Year 10 students enjoyed an intense but exciting 'NGO Relief Action Day' at Le Meridien Hotel.
It was another day to remember at KIS with fascinating workshops and entertaining cultural presentations literally taking centre stage, as students, staff and parents enjoyed our busiest day yet in our 2010 International Week.
The second day of ‘International Week’ saw KIS students in both Primary and Secondary learning more about the global threats to our environment and the role that re-cycling can play in helping to make a difference.
International Week began with students in our Secondary section working hard on their ‘Country Investigations’ and building on their initial research completed over the weekend to produce posters and informative presentations.
