Primary Class Dojo Challenges 28.09.2019
Weekly challenges for our Primary students are now being set through School Story on our Class Dojo site. These activities and challenges are optional tasks your children may enjoy doing at home. Currently, we are setting challenges based on fun spelling work through our Boggle challenge, a Lego building challenge, a photography challenge and the Monthly Maths Challenge. We will also share an activity linked to each Book @ Bedtime story that we post on School Story.
Children can attempt as many of the challenges as they would like to, completing them at home. We encourage parents to help children share their completed work through their portfolio on Class Dojo. As children complete the challenges, we will keep a record of their participation which will translate into housepoints earned for their House.
New challenges will be set each week on Wednesday and Friday, with one week given to complete it and get all entries submitted. The challenges will be posted on the School Story page, so make sure you’re checking regularly for the new challenges! Old challenges will be removed once the entry date is reached so that we avoid clogging up the posts shared and it will be easier for you to navigate and find the current challenges.
Keep your eyes peeled around school as we begin to set up a special display related to Class Dojo, where we will share photos celebrating entries for different challenges, results from previous challenges and celebrations for rewards earned and presented in weekly assemblies.
Finally, thanks to all students who have submitted entries for the first lot of challenges we set. I have thoroughly enjoyed seeing how individuals have interpreted the challenge set and cannot wait to see what other brilliant ideas are shared as the challenges continue. Many thanks to all parents who have supported the children. If you haven’t taken part in a challenge yet, it’s not too late! Check out Class Dojo now to find out about Lego vehicles and red photographs! I look forward to seeing what entries we will have this week!!
