WEEKLY HOUSEPOINT TOTALS

The Weekly Housepoint Championship continues to be a closely fought battle and this week’s result was no exception. Only 13 houspoints separated the three houses in their fight to be crowned the top House and the result this week saw a complete reversal from last week.

This week, the housepoints we awarded to each team was:

In 3rd place, with 269 housepoints is Gaya!

In 2nd place with 274 housepoints is Sapi!

In 1st place with 282 housepoints is Sulug!

Congratulations to Sulug Sharks for another win this term! Across the school year, they have been our champions for an impressive 14 weeks! I’m excited to see how many more times they’ll be the champions! Can the Sunbears and the Pangolins equal their wins?

GO GAYA PANGOLINS!    GO SAPI SUNBEARS!        GO SULUG SHARKS

DOJO CHALLENGES

Our creative challenge for making drawings from a number really inspired our Sunbears, who produced some imaginative pictures! There were even some entries from honorary Sapi members as families got involved in the challenge and parents submitted their drawings too! All their hard work brought the Sunbears a resounding victory in this challenge! Can they maintain their victory with the next challenge? Who will choose to complete the challenges this week and help bring their team to glory?

There is no Monthly Maths Challenge to share as all entries for the January challenge have been submitted. But worry not, we will return with a new Maths challenge for February on Friday 5th February 2021!

Anzac Biscuits | RecipeTin Eats

The Fun Weekly Dojo Challenge this week, is a celebration of international festivals. This week saw Australia Day celebrated and one way many Australian families celebrate this national day is by cooking and baking favourite dishes together, including Anzac cookies. Check out the shared folder for some recipes for traditional Australian foods. Perhaps you and your families can enjoy some baking and cooking together, making a family favourite recipe or trying out one of many international dishes from different celebrations. This challenge could be the opportunity you need to purchase a copy of the KIS cookbook and test it out!! I look forward to seeing your culinary talents! Happy cooking KIS!

Don’t forget to check out our School Story posts on Class Dojo and listen to one of the many stories shared for our Book @ Bedtime…or Anytime series. Next week we will return with another brand new story for you to share and enjoy!
