WEEKLY HOUSEPOINT TOTALS

The Weekly Housepoint Championship continues to be a tug of war battle as results this week were switched around from last week. All our Primary pupils continue to show their dedication and commitment to their learning through their hard earned housepoints and it is so exciting to count up the totals every week

This week, the housepoints we awarded to each team was:

In 3rd place, with 235 housepoints is Sulug!

In 2nd place with 254 housepoints is Sapi!

In 1st place with 290 housepoints is Gaya!

Congratulations to Gaya Pangolins for their third win this term!! Keep it up Pangolins! How many more times will we see you wear the crown for the weekly housepoint battle? I can’t wait to find out!

DOJO CHALLENGES

Another week of Fun Dojo challenges saw some amazing culinary skills on display and I certainly felt hungry as I enjoyed seeing the pictures of all the wonderful dishes made! Sapi Sunbears were the winning team for yet another week and they stormed to the win with the most entries in the challenge. Can they maintain their victory with the next challenge? Who will choose to complete the challenges this week and help bring their team to glory?

The Monthly Maths Challenge returns this week with the February Challenge! If you’d like to attempt the February challenge, there is a task for Year 1&2, Year 3&4 and Year 5&6 to attempt.

Good luck maths challengers! All entries for the Monthly Maths Challenge are due by Friday 26th February 2021.

There will be 2 Weekly Fun Challenges to attempt this week! The first challenge recognises the fun celebration of “Eat Ice Cream for Breakfast Day” celebrated on February 6th! Take on the challenge and enjoy making your own ice cream sundae to enjoy over the weekend! What toppings will your sundae have and who will you enjoy it with?

The second fun challenge will be shared next week for you to tackle over our half term break. For this challenge you will need a pack of playing cards to build a tower with. How high can you make your card tower? Can you use a whole deck of cards and keep the tower standing?

Book @ Bedtime…or Anytime returns again with a favourite story of mine that I’m excited to share with you all! It is the beautiful tale of a small, forgotten creature called Nothing. Don’t forget to check back through our School Story posts to enjoy sharing stories from previous weeks!

If you missed the challenges when they were shared on Dojo on Friday, please check out School Story on Dojo to find the link to the Weekly Dojo Challenge folder. You can also use this link https://cutt.ly/LfcFEyn to access the folder and find the details for all the challenges shared this week. If you have any questions, please do get in touch via email; sbarlass@kis.edu.my or through Class Dojo messages.

We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible participating with these weekly challenges, but please do remember that all challenges are optional. All entries for all challenges will be awarded with housepoints towards their House Team total, because “Team work makes the dream work!”

Happy challenging KIS!
