WEEKLY HOUSEPOINT AWARDS
It was another successful week for a handful of students across Primary as we presented them with their next Housepoint Award! It is lovely to receive emails from Primary teachers with news of how excited all our students are when realise how close they are to receiving their next award. One of my favourite parts of the week is to prepare the awards and pass them along for presentation in assembly and I cannot wait to see which awards I get to prepare in the coming weeks!
This week, our congratulations are given to the following pupils throughout Primary.

WEEKLY HOUSEPOINT TOTALS
It was wonderful to be joined by the House Captains again this week and they certainly proved their leadership as they worked out the overall totals perfectly! It was great to hear their chatter as they calculated totals and rechecked their working, obviously excited by the close battle that they could see unfolding in the totals they added up.
This week, the housepoints we awarded to each team was:
In 3rd place, with 183 housepoints is Gaya!
In 2nd place with 188 housepoints is Sulug!
In 1st place with 191 housepoints is Sapi!
Congratulations to Sapi Sunbears who held onto their top spot for the second week in a row. Another close result this week keeps everyone guessing for how this will all affect the overall term results. It won’t be long until we can find out! Keep up the hard work everyone! I can’t wait to find out who we’ll celebrate next week.

DOJO CHALLENGES
Congratulations to the Sunbears and Sharks who were our Dojo challenge winners with some amazing Pi challenge entries! Beautiful dream catchers and bracelets were made as well as amazing city skyline artwork and delicious looking pizza Pi’s! A very special well done to JuneAnn in Year 1, Serene in Year 4 and Janesse in Year 5 who successfully memorised impressive chunks of the Pi sequence and recited it mistake free! Well done to everyone taking part in the challenges! Who will choose to complete the challenges this week and help bring their team to glory?
This is the final week to attempt the Monthly Maths Challenge for March. There is a challenge for Year 1&2, Year 3&4 and Year 5&6 to be completed. Choose the challenge for your year group. Good luck Maths Challengers! All entries for the March Maths challenge are due Friday 26th March.
Our Fun Dojo Challenge this week is to create some colourful rainbows inspired by the annual celebration for St. Patrick’s Day, which took place on March 17th. Included in our shared Google Drive are some videos to inspire you to create your own rainbows through some fun science experiments and art projects. Each rainbow challenge can be completed using simple resources and materials that you may already have at home! Have fun bringing a little colour this week with our special rainbow challenges!
Book @ Bedtime…or Anytime will be back next week with another brand new story about the Easter Bunny! Don’t forget to check back through all the School Story posts for all past Book @ Bedtime stories that have been recorded so far!
