DOJO CHALLENGES

Over the Easter break lots of our Primary students took on the various Easter challenges. There were some beautifully decorated Easter eggs, fabulous surprise egg drawings and some accurately solved Easter Maths mysteries. Well done to everyone who participated in the challenges, but an extra special congratulations goes to the Sulug Sharks who completed the most Dojo challenges this time. Who will choose to take on the challenges this week?

As we start our final term, it seems only fitting that we kick it off with a new Monthly Maths Challenge! If you’d like to attempt the April challenge, there is a task for Year 1&2, Year 3&4 and Year 5&6 to attempt. Good luck maths challengers! All entries for the Monthly Maths Challenge are due by Friday 30th April 2021.

The Fun Weekly Dojo Challenge this week, is to do something that you love to do. We all have different interests and different things that we enjoy using our free time to do. You may like to read, play games, draw pictures or spend time with your family doing something special together. Whatever you choose to do this week, take a photo of you having fun and doing what you love! Share your photos on your Dojo portfolio to earn housepoints for your House!

Our wonderful Book @ Bedtime…or Anytime returns again this week with Mr. Hallas reading one of his family’s favourite stories: Llama Llama Mad at Mama. Don’t forget to check out past posts on the School Story page to see any stories you might want to enjoy sharing again and again!

If you missed the challenges when they were shared on Dojo on Friday, please check out School Story on Dojo to find the link to the Weekly Dojo Challenge folder. You can also use this link https://cutt.ly/LfcFEyn to access the folder and find the details for all the challenges shared this week. If you have any questions, please do get in touch via email; sbarlass@kis.edu.my or through Class Dojo messages.

We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible participating with these weekly challenges, but please do remember that all challenges are optional. All entries for all challenges will be awarded with housepoints towards their House Team total, because “Team work makes the dream work!”

Happy challenging KIS!
