HOUSEPOINT TOTAL
The end of Term 2 is inching closer and every housepoint matters as we look towards finding out which House will be in lead overall in a couple of weeks time. This week, our three Houses accumulated an impressive 491 housepoints and first place in the weekly battle was clinched by the narrowest win! Keep up the fabulous efforts KIS as you have me on the edge of my seat!
The housepoints awarded to each team was:
In 3rd place with 162 housepoints is Sulug!
In 2nd place with 164 housepoints is Gaya!
In 1st place with 165 housepoints is Sapi!
Our congratulations go to Sapi Sunbears who clinched the victory this week!! Who will we be celebrating as Housepoint Champions next week?!

DOJO CHALLENGE
As we celebrated Arts Day in school this week, we will find out who are the Dojo Challenge champions next week! Well done to everyone who has participated in the recent Fun Challenges and Monthly Maths Challenge for March. I have loved seeing all your entries and can’t wait to share them next week to see which House will be the champion in challenges!
Now it’s time to find out what challenges you can involve yourself in this week.
The Monthly Maths Challenge continues for March! Make sure you check out the Google Drive for a range of Spring themed Maths challenges! There are challenges for F1&F2, Y1&Y2, Y3&Y4 and Y5&Y6. Check out the challenge details, download any files needed and get those maths brains calculating and solving! All submissions for this month’s challenge are due by Friday 24th March 2023. This week has been Arts Day at KIS which has also coincided with British Science Week. As a result, our newest Fun Dojo Challenge is Arty Science! There are a variety of different science investigations you can choose to complete at home. To participate in this challenge, choose the investigation you find most interesting and complete it! The more investigations you complete, the more housepoints you will earn for your House!

Ms. Lisa in our Marketing Department may use some of the wonderful challenge submissions each week to celebrate and share your wonderful work through videos created for the KIS newsletter and social media sites. Please use the link above, complete the required information in the Google Form and upload your photos.
