HOUSEPOINT TOTAL
As another week passes, we saw the housepoint totals add up to an impressive 652 housepoints, earned collectively by our Primary students. These totals show the hard work, dedication and enthusiasm any student at KIS displays on a weekly basis and we couldn’t be prouder of their achievements!
Our Weekly Class Housepoint Winner was Year 5 this week, who earned an impressive 4 housepoints per pupil. Well done Year 5! What an awesome example you are setting for our school!
Now that just leaves us wondering who the House winners are! Only 4 points separated first and third with the winners clinching their victory by just 1 point!
The housepoints awarded to each team was:
In 3rd place with 215 housepoints is Sapi!
In 2nd place with 218 housepoints is Gaya!
In 1st place with 219 housepoints is Sulug!
Our congratulations go to Sulug Sharks who clinched the victory this week!! Who will we be celebrating as Housepoint Champions next week?!
GO GAYA PANGOLINS! GO SAPI SUNBEARS! GO SULUG SHARKS!!
DOJO CHALLENGE
Sulug Sharks were the double champions this week, celebrating as both our Houespoint champions as well as the Dojo Challenge Champions!
We received some wonderful entries to the last challenge showing us Pictures for KIS which represented what KIS means to our students and what they feel about our school. They all reflected the kind and caring nature we see throughout our community as well as the international flavour and global identity we encourage in all our students. Who knows, in the weeks to come we may see some of the images children submitted to this challenge displayed around our school!
Now it’s time to find out what challenges you can involve yourself in this week.

Life Thru a Lens Photo Competition
Many entries were submitted for the latest Life Thru a Lens photo competition and it was wonderful to see so many images representing the love of reading that is fostered throughout the Primary School. Well done to everyone who entered!
Judging and voting has been completed by our Primary Leadership team along with members of staff from the Primary and Secondary Library. We were proud to reveal the overall winners during our Weekly Assembly at the end of the week! One winner was chosen from each House in each Key Stage and they will have their photo printed and displayed on the walls of the Primary Key Stage Office.
