DOJO CHALLENGES
So many of you shared your explorations of our wonderful environment as part of Earth Day and I loved seeing you out and about on sunrise hikes, bike rides around the bay, beach walks and many more outdoor adventures. It was also wonderful to read your pledges to help make a change and I hope everyone continues to do their part to help make every day Earth Day. Good luck keeping the pledges you have made and let us know how you’re getting on!
There is no Maths Challenge this week. The Monthly Maths Challenge will return next week with challenges set for May for Y1&2, Y3&4 and Y5&6.
This week’s fun challenge is a House Scavenger Hunt inspired by your mascots. If you’re in Gaya, search for items that start with P for Pangolins! For anyone in Sapi, you’re searching for items that start with B from Sun Bears! Sulug House will hunt for items that start with S for Sharks! What items will you find and how many different items can you share that start with your mascot initials?
Starting from this week, we’d love to have your completed challenges shared through this Google Form link:

Ms. Lisa in our Marketing Department will use some of the wonderful challenge submissions each week to celebrate the challenges completed by creating videos to share on the KIS social media sites. Book @ Bedtime…or Anytime is back this week as Mrs. Duffield reads an Elmer story for us to share!! We hope you enjoy this wonderful classic about the patchwork elephant!

We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible participating with these weekly challenges, but please do remember that all challenges are optional. All entries for all challenges will be awarded with housepoints towards their House Team total, because “Team work makes the dream work!”
Happy challenging KIS!
