‘At Kinabalu International School we are dedicated to providing an excellent education in a caring, respectful environment, challenging children to achieve their full potential as successful global citizens.’

You can find out who our Stars of the Week are by logging onto Dojo. This week Year 1 joined Year 3 with 100% of parents signed up! Well done Year 1! Year 5 are very close behind with 98%. Can they manage 100% by next week?
I had the great pleasure of meeting with the Class Ambassadors this week. The CAs Support and facilitate liaison between the PTA and the parent community and take very good care of the parents in each class. I will post more information on Dojo about the role of your class ambassadors.
Thank you to those parents who were able to attend this week’s Topic Talks. It was great to welcome so many of you into school. If you were unable to attend you will be able to find your year group PowerPoint on DoJo. There will be another opportunity for you to meet individually with your class teacher during the week beginning 23rd September. These meetings are designed for you to find out more about how your child/children are settling into school. Details of how to sign up for these meetings will follow.
On Wednesday 11th September I would like to invite all parents to meet with me at 08.00 in the MPR. This is an opportunity for me as the new Head of Primary, to share my initial thoughts and ideas of how we can further develop the Primary school and for you to ask any questions that you may have and share your valued feedback with me.
Finally, please join me in welcoming our new children and their families to KIS.
