From the Head of Primary 14.09.19
Thank you to all parents who were able to attend the Primary coffee morning on Wednesday. It was lovely to be able to share some of the new things that we are doing in Primary and to hear your feedback which we are working on. As requested we are currently looking at adding teacher’s roles to Dojo so that you are able to identify our teaching and learning assistants as well as specialist teachers who you may not be so familiar with. We are also working on producing end of year learning objectives in Reading, Writing and Maths for each year group so that you have a better understanding of what your children will be learning throughout the year. In the near future we will be offering a Maths workshop which will give parents the opportunity to gain knowledge of the calculation strategies that we use for the four operations throughout Primary. Other workshops such as spelling strategies will follow later in the year.
During Friday’s celebration assembly we announced our Eco Warriors for the year. A big congratulations to the following children.
