From the Head of Primary 18.09.2021

These are ideas the students came up with around what they think it means to be a good leader.

Our Student Leadership focus continued this week with the announcement of the Student Council representatives. Congratulations to the following students:

I look forward to our first meeting next week, where hopefully I will get to hear lots of wonderful ideas about how we can improve our school further.

Next week we are looking forward to finding out who our Eco Warriors (Y4-Y6), Library Cadets (Y3-Y6) and Charity Committee members (Y3-Y6) are. Check Class Dojo year group pages for information about how to apply for these roles.

In this week’s primary celebration assembly, Ms Siti spoke with students about the importance of maintaining our physical fitness and on coping strategies and solutions for when we find ourselves feeling overwhelmed.

Next week, the primary school will hold Parent/Teacher Settling In Meetings. As I have mentioned before, strong home/school links are so important and really do play an important part in your child’s education. Please sign up for a meeting if you haven’t done so already. You will find the sign up sheet on Class Dojo. This is a great opportunity for you to meet your child’s new class teacher on a 1:1 basis and find out how they have settled into the new school year.

Finally, I would like to extend a very warm welcome to a new student and her family who joined us this week:

Safa Arifin (Y3S)

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend.
