Just before the start of school, I went in to buy my new uniform. It was early morning and there were no cars around the car park area but there was a substantial amount of litter. I was horrified to see how people had treated the area around the school and our local environment. The next Sunday my mother and I spent nearly 2 hours picking up the litter. We collected 3 bags full as the Nursery rhyme says!
Everything from shoes, hats, straws, single use plastic and millions of disgusting cigarette butts. We need to protect our school and the environment and raise the awareness of the harm that rubbish causes. We aim to buy rubbish bins for the area, put up posters and talk to the local schools and the mosque about rubbish pollution.
I am passionate about the environment and animals and saving our precious planet so please try not to use single use or any plastic and do not litter.
Do not drop it, put it in the bin!
