COMMUNITY NEWS 26.03.22

First of all I want to say a massive thank you to everyone who baked, helped sell, and donated to this cause. We raised a fantastic amount of money: RM 5,420! This was an absolutely amazing feat of the KIS community coming together and that money will go a long way to helping those in need.

The student council really outdid themselves, making posters, raising awareness in their forms and for helping sell on the day, I am so proud of what they have achieved. They were excellent salesmen and women on the day of the sale, really doing their best to make the most money possible.

One last final thank you again to those that monetary donations, the PTA, to the student council, to all those that baked and to everyone that came out to support Ukrainian refugees though the KIS bake sale.

In conjunction with Book Week, the Charity Committee will be running a Books & Toys Drive that will benefit a few rural schools through Bookreach.org. We hope that many of you will support this effort!

Welcome to the upcoming KIS Wellbeing Newsletter starting in Term 3! I find this to be a wonderful opportunity to reach out to the wider KIS community and share information or refreshers about wellbeing. However, I am having a difficult time choosing which logo to go with and thought it would be more meaningful to get the KIS Community on board to help me choose.
Please vote which one from the above 3 logos, you would like to see on the Wellbeing Newsletter. Thank you for helping us out!
