Word of the Week! 05.10.2019

Well done to all KS3 students for continuing with the very high standard of vocabulary.  It’s very rewarding to see and I know you will keep up the hard work.

                This week’s winner is Tania, from year 9S with the word ‘expedite’ – Henry needs to expedite the completion of the reports.  Five house points for Sulug.

                Runner-up is Julia, Year 7K, with ‘maritime’ – Ships must obey maritime rules.  Julia earns four house points for Sulug.

                In third place is Natalia with ‘saviour’ – I was hanging, the cliff willing me to fall, when suddenly my saviour came.  I was saved. Natalia  nets three house points for Sapi.

                  Well done to all KS3 students.  Continue to make the task a tricky one for the English department, for all the right reasons.
