Word of the Week! 09.11.2019

Another week of very entertaining and erudite words from KS3 students.

This week’s winner is Calista, Year 8K, with ‘knackered’ – I was absolutely knackered because I had worked out for 2 hours every day this week.  Calista earns 5 house points for Sapi.

The runner-up is Han Kyeol, earning 4 house points for Gaya with ‘engrossed’ – Michael was engrossed with the painting by Kensuke.

Finally we have Diego with ‘rancour’ – Phyllis still felt rancour towards Mark for the way she had abandoned her.  Diego earns 3 points for Gaya.

Well done to the above three students and to all the KS3 students who put serious time and effort into making the decision so difficult for the English dept.
