HOUSE NEWS 21.08.2021

I’d like to take this opportunity to welcome everyone back to our new school year and say a very big hello and warm welcome to our new families joining us!  As we start the new year we get straight back into the swing of our Weekly Dojo Challenges and I cannot wait to see our Primary students get involved!

The first challenge is our August Maths Challenge. If you’d like to take part, there is a challenge for F1&F2, Year 1&2, Year 3&4 and Year 5&6 to attempt. Good luck maths challengers! All entries for the Monthly Maths Challenge are due by Friday 27th August 2021.

Our very first Fun Weekly Dojo Challenge for this year is to draw a welcome back picture to celebrate the start of our school year! You could include an uplifting, positive message for your classmates and teachers about this year. Or you could draw your favourite thing about this first week! We’d love to see your drawings that celebrate the start of another fabulous year at KIS!!

Please share photos of your completed challenges through this Google Form link:

Ms. Lisa in our Marketing Department will use some of the wonderful challenge submissions each week to celebrate and share your wonderful work through videos created for KIS social media sites. Please use the link above, complete the required information in the Google Form and upload your photos.

If you missed the challenges when they were shared on Dojo on Friday, please check out School Story on Dojo to find the link to the Weekly Dojo Challenge folder. You can also use this link https://cutt.ly/LfcFEyn to access the folder and find the details for all the challenges shared this week. If you have any questions, please do get in touch via email; sbarlass@kis.edu.my or through Class Dojo messages.

We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible participating with these weekly challenges, but please do remember that all challenges are optional. All entries for all challenges will be awarded with housepoints towards their House Team total, because “Team work makes the dream work!”

Happy challenging KIS!
