PRIMARY HOUSE NEWS

Primary students have started this new academic year with a bang and the race is on once again to find the next Weekly Housepoint Champions! Our current champions from last year are the Sulug Sharks, but only time will tell if they can maintain their success for a second year in a row!

This week we introduced the Weekly Class Housepoint Winner and Year 5 are the Champions this week, earning an average of 10 housepoints per pupil during the first week back! Well done Year 5! What an awesome start to our new year!

Now that just leaves us wondering who the House winners are! Collectively, Primary students across all 3 houses earned a very impressive 508 housepoints and the individual House totals were very close, as we’ve come to expect!

The housepoints awarded to each team was:

In 3rd place with 167 housepoints is Sulug!

In 2nd place with 169 housepoints is Sapi!

In 1st place with 172 housepoints is Gaya!

Our congratulations go to Gaya Pangolins  for the first win of this school year! Who will we be celebrating as Housepoint Champions next week?!

GO GAYA PANGOLINS! GO SAPI SUNBEARS! GO SULUG SHARKS!!

DOJO CHALLENGE THIS WEEK!

Welcome back to the start of our new school year and our Weekly Dojo Challenges! We cannot wait to see all the exciting challenges that Primary will take on throughout the academic year and their amazing contributions to each challenge set.

As always, we will share a weekly fun challenge and a monthly maths challenge. The maths challenge will be starting in September but we kick this school year off now with the first of our fun challenges!

Our Fun Challenge this week asks you to think about New Year Resolutions. Traditionally, people will make a resolution at the start of a new calendar year. As this is the start of our new school year, we want you to make a resolution for what you will do throughout this year to make it a fantastic school year! A resolution is a promise to yourself to say what you will do in school. What promise will you make to yourself so that you can make this school year the best one yet? Share your New Year Resolutions in a picture so we can all see what you will do!

Please share photos of your completed challenges through this Google Form link:
