WEEKLY HOUSEPOINT AWARDS
Even through lockdown, our KIS students have continued to perform admirably, allowing us to present more Bronze Awards to a selection of amazing pupils. In our Zoom assembly, we shared their names and are so proud of their achievements. Yet again, they prove to be wonderful role models throughout Primary.

WEEKLY HOUSEPOINT TOTALS
Throughout our online learning, KIS students have continued to impress with their hard work as they earned an impressive 838 housepoints. It is wonderful to see the dedication to learning goes beyond the classroom with all our students and they continue to demonstrate all the qualities inherent in KIS students.
This week, the housepoints we awarded to each team was:
In 3rd place, with 265 housepoints is Gaya!
In 2nd place with 285 housepoints is Sapi!
In 1st place with 288 housepoints is Sulug!
Our congratulations go to Sulug Sharks who take the crown for a fourth week in a row, making it 6 wins in total! Who will we be celebrating next week?

DOJO CHALLENGES
Sapi Sunbears are the winners of the Dojo challenges for a second week in a row, narrowly beating the Sharks and Pangolins! Congratulations to all Sunbears who took part in the Maths and Fun Dojo challenges this week! Good luck to all who take part! Will Sapi remain victorious for next week?
Don’t forget to have a go at the October Monthly Maths Challenge if you think you’re up for it! There is a task for Year 1&2, Year 3&4 and Year 5&6 to attempt. All entries for this Maths Challenge are due by Friday 30th October 2020. Please upload a photo of your completed Maths challenge to your Dojo portfolio.
The Fun Weekly Dojo Challenge is to give everyone something to laugh about in lockdown! Do you have a favourite joke to tell? Then this is the challenge for you! We would like you to video yourself telling your chosen joke dressed up in a fun outfit! This could be clothes in your House colour, a fancy dress costume or your favourite outfit! Individual joke videos should be 10-15 seconds long. Take a look at the short video we shared in our Zoom assembly to inspire you with the comedy brilliance of some teachers!! https://cutt.ly/ZgfUiDn
Share your joke telling videos through this Google Forms https://www.kis.edu.my/upload/ and we will create the KIS LOCKDOWN LAUGH video to bring a smile to everyone’s faces! Deadline for video submissions is Wednesday 28th October 2020.
This week, Book @ Bedtime…or Anytime returns with Mrs. Mullan sharing the beautiful story ‘Something Else’ about finding friendship. We hope you enjoy it!
