HOUSEPOINT TOTAL

After a close race throughout Term 2 and an exciting finish (with our Term 2 totals being so close), there was no question that Term 3 would get off to a close and exciting start as the Weekly Housepoint Total battle resumed!

Collectively, Primary earned an impressive 879 housepoints and our Year 3 class claimed victory as the class champions, with an average of 8 housepoints per pupil!

The battle between our 3 houses was close, as we have seen on so many occasions and only a few housepoints separated the top spots.

The housepoints awarded to each team was:

In 3rd place with 290 housepoints is Sapi!

In 2nd place with 293 housepoints is Sulug!

In 1st place with 296 housepoints is Gaya!

Our congratulations go to Gaya Pangolins who clinched the victory in for this first week of Term 3!

GO GAYA PANGOLINS! GO SAPI SUNBEARS! GO SULUG SHARKS!!

FIRST DOJO CHALLENGE

It’s wonderful to start our third and final term and what better way to kick it off than with an announcement about our next fun Dojo challenges! We hope to see as many of our students and families involve themselves in our  House challenges and look forward to seeing what you will contribute to the challenges we have planned for this final term!

Good luck everyone! Now it’s time to find out what challenges you can involve yourself in this week.

April 14th is the International Moment of Laughter Day and that’s what this week’s challenge is all about…creating moments of laughter for our friends and family! To do this, we are asking you to tell a joke that will make someone laugh. Once you’ve found your joke, you need to make a short video of yourself telling your joke.

Videos should be no more than 10 seconds long and should include you telling one joke. If you want to share more than one joke, please submit separate videos. We hope to compile all your short videos into one compilation video to share our moments of laughter with the KIS community! Good luck KIS and get giggling today!

Check our collection of jokes from previous years for inspiration!
