HOUSEPOINT TOTAL

It is hard to believe that this is only the end of the second week back in our second term! Primary students continue to show the attributes we easily find in all our learners across the Primary students and as a result, it is not hard to see why so many housepoints are being awarded each week. Collectively, the 3 Houses earned a respectable 657 housepoints for all their hard work and achievements.

Our Weekly Class Housepoint Winner was Year 6 who earned an impressive 7 housepoints per pupil. Well done Year 6! What an awesome example you are setting for our school!

Now that just leaves us wondering who the House winners are! It was a close battle this week with just 1 point separating each House as they battled to see who would come out on top!

The housepoints awarded to each team was:

In 3rd place with 218 housepoints is Sapi!

In 2nd place with 219 housepoints is Gaya!

In 1st place with 220 housepoints is Sulug!

Our congratulations go to Sulug Sharks for the win this week! Who will we be celebrating as Housepoint Champions next week?!

GO GAYA PANGOLINS! GO SAPI SUNBEARS! GO SULUG SHARKS!!

DOJO CHALLENGE

Primary students shared some of their amazing and happy Holiday Highlights as part of last week’s Dojo challenge. It was a real pleasure to be able to enjoy everyone’s adventures, including holidays to Hawaii, underwater walking, Chinese New Year celebrations and spending time with family and friends. Sulug Sharks were the clear winners this week and enjoyed a double victory as Champions for our Dojo challenges and Weekly Housepoint Battle! Well done to the Sharks!

Happy challenging KIS!

As our school year continues, we enjoyed the chance to share more photos from our talented Primary students for the third installment of our Life Thru a Lens competition. Students were challenged to take a photo with the theme “Your New Year” and submitted some excellent photos displaying what the new year meant to them. The images entered into the competition showed a high standard of thoughtfulness linked to the theme and some great creativity! Well done to everyone who entered.

Judging and voting has been completed by our Primary Leadership team along with members of staff from the Languages department. We were proud to reveal the overall winners during our Weekly Assembly at the end of the week! One winner was chosen from each House in each Key Stage and they will have their photo printed and displayed on the walls of the Primary Key Stage Office.

Please join me in congratulating the winners and admire their amazing photos for “Your New Year!”
