House News 02.11.2019

Welcome back after our half term break! The battle for our Weekly Housepoint Champion continues, and after 4 days of hard work, we saw our Primary students collectively earn 905 housepoints! Well done to everyone who played their part in achieving this total!

It was another very close race again with only 24 housepoints separating third and first place. The monthly maths challenge was won by Gaya as they had the most people attempting to solve the various challenges set. This earned their House an extra 22 points for their team total! Look out next week for November’s maths challenge when it is shared on Dojo, as well as our other fun weekly challenges. Please remember, these Dojo challenges are optional and should only be attempted after any individual year group home learning tasks have been completed.

Our weekly breakdown of housepoints earned for each House is:

In 3rd place, with 291 housepoints is GAYA!

In 2nd place with 299 housepoints is SAPI!

In 1st place with 315 housepoints is SULUG!

Congratulations to Sulug who have clinched the first victory for this second half term. What an exciting way to start our new term! Keep up the hard work in all our Houses!

GO GAYA! GO SAPI! GO SULUG!!

WEEKLY HOUSEPOINT AWARDS

As we start this second half term, we saw a small group of children in Year 4 and 5 earn their first Housepoint Award! I am certain that as the week’s continue, we will see more and more children being presented with their certificates for earning housepoints individually.

Congratulations to all the children appearing on our honour roll this week. We look forward to awarding more certificates in the coming weeks!
