Saturday 25th June
Dear KIS Community,
Time to get up, get dressed and come along to the KIS Summer Fair. Pop along between 9am and 1pm today for some family fun and catch up with friends in the community.
Well done to all of our primary students for their efforts in the sports days over the past week. Thank you to our wonderful PE department for arranging a great week of events and activities. Well done to the parents and staff for getting involved in the tug-of-war challenges and you can read more about this in the PE section.
More great assemblies and showcases took place across Primary, and transition was the focus for many students, especially Year 6 who were able to experience life in secondary. Thank you to Ms Colley and teachers for arranging a great opportunity for the students.
Preparations for the Science and Art Days continue, many students have been designing, trialling, preparing, rehearsing, all in preparation for Science Day, KIS has talent and Art Day. It may be the last week, but it promises to be busy and exciting.
Thank you to everyone who has been able to complete the KIS Community Survey, we will keep the survey open to the end of the month to give you time to complete. Please check your emails for the link to the survey so your views can be represented.
Remember, we are getting close to our 50th Anniversary in 2023 and we are looking for a select committee of parents, staff and students to help guide us through this special year with ideas and energy to develop and organise events and activities to celebrate this wonderful milestone.
