From the Principal 20.06.2020

Dear KIS Community,

Congratulations to our graduating class of 2020. Our thanks to Mr Barker for arranging a virtual graduation ceremony. It was the perfect opportunity to share in our students’ success and join together to wish them well as they head off to universities around the world (once flights resume of course).

On Thursday we received a small delegation from the Ministry of Education to see how prepared we were to welcome students back on campus next week. Following a tour of the school grounds, canteen, classrooms and medical facilities we were told that they were very happy and clearly see we were well prepared to ensure the safe return of teachers and students.

Mrs Renshaw has written a letter to returning students to help prepare them for their return and students (and staff) have been sent a health and travel declaration which must be completed before they come back to school.

Following the recent Board of Governors’ meeting this week, all parents have been sent a letter regarding fees for the first term in our next academic year.

I wish you all a lovely weekend,

Ian Gross
