A few Reminders
Now that we are a few weeks into the term I would just like to remind parents and students of a few of the basics:
- All students must be through the school gates by 7.30am at the latest. At the moment we have some students who are frequently late and this means that potentially they are missing a very important part of their day, when they meet with their tutor group and receive important messages from the daily bulletin.
- School Uniform: we do have a set uniform and all students must adhere to it.
- Bring Your Own Device. It is school policy that all students from Year 7 to Year 13 must have their own laptop which they bring from home every day, fully charged.
Have a wonderful weekend!

What’s Happening in Year 7?
Year 7 has had a fabulous start to their Secondary journey. It has been wonderful to see them around school enjoying themselves both in and out of lessons. 7K and 7S have been supported by their amazing form tutors, Ms. Tretter and Mr Denyer, both at in the morning to get the students ready for the day ahead and in supporting them through the transition to Secondary School in their PSHE lessons.

Students have been enjoying a variety of different lessons. In Maths they have been using their knowledge of coordinates to create works of art and in Science they have been improving their scientific skills and learning how to use lab equipment safely, and recording data. PE lessons saw students working to develop their teamwork and athletic abilities.
Well done to all our Year 7 students. They have settled in well and I look forward to working with them for the rest of their KS3 journey and beyond!
