Charity Committee 2021 – 2022

I am pleased to announce the Secondary Charity Committee for 2021 – 2022

President: Kaiyisah Nazif.

Kaiyisah will be in charge of the team meetings and organising the students in their endeavours

Vice President: Leya Razak.

Leya and Kaiyisah will make a formidable team!

Treasurer: Aeymann Anwar

Vice Treasurer: Aryyan Anwar

Aeymann and Aryyan will have a very important job in managing all the funds that the team are going to raise throughout the year for the various charities.

Events Coordinator: Sophie Gervasi.

You need good strategic planning skills for this role and I know that Sophie will do a brilliant job.

Media Managers: Chloe Foong, Yanjing Liu and Farah Idrena.

This team of three will make sure that they use a range of platforms and strategies to promote Charity Committee events this year. 

Well done to these students who are volunteering their time, effort and energy this year. I think we are going to hear a lot from them in future months and that the KIS community is standing by to offer support.

Laptops and Lattes

Many thanks to those parents who attended the New Normal Coffee Morning [Laptops and Lattes] event on Thursday morning. We had just the right size of group for everybody to get involved and there was some really useful discussion. A lot of it was naturally focussed on Year 10 to 13 students returning to school next week and it was interesting to hear a range of opinion and ideas and hopefully it was useful in that Mr Gross and I were able to explain what the school has in place in this interactive format.

We are very much looking forward to seeing our examination classes in school next week. I emailed them yesterday with some final reminders of what to expect. If there are any questions, I would be happy to answer them.
