From the Head of Primary 09.05.2020
Another busy week of remote school and a week closer to the time when we will all be back together again. Again the children have risen to the many challenges given to them and have been busy sharing their learning on Class Dojo.
If we had been in school, Friday 8th May would have been Science Day and so next week each year group House Challenge will have a science-based theme. As usual, children will be able to earn two house points for each challenge completed but we are also asking that you upload your photos and videos of each challenge to www.kis.edu.my/upload. We would like to put together a montage of sciency fun for us all to enjoy and so please get busy with your science investigations.
This week Scubazoo and Scuba junkie have been in touch with some great learning opportunities for the children to get involved in. Every week Scubazoo will be posting fun worksheets to their website www.scubazoo.tv for children to enjoy. This week it’s the Frogfish and next week’s learning will focus on Sun bears.
Scuba junkie have launched Meet a Marine Biologist Mondays where children of all ages are invited to a 30 minute question and answer session with a Marine Biologist. Please do feel free to get involved.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend.
