KIS Students dominate in 3rd round of the Sabah Junior Tennis Circuit

During the mid-term break, 3 students achieved fantastic results competing in the 3rd leg of the Sabah Junior Tennis Championship that was held at the Sutera Tennis Club from the 24th-26th October.
Ethan and Amar both from Year 12, and Iden from Year 9 all took part in the U16 Boys Singles and Doubles tournaments.
Amar reached the semi-finals in the boys U16 Singles tournament while the final was played out between brothers; Ethan and Iden. Whilst Ethan was successful in winning the final, high praise for Iden in reaching the final as he was playing 2 years out of age-group.
In the Boys U16 Doubles Tournament, all 3 boys made the final where Iden and Amar were again just on the wrong side of the result losing to Ethan and his partner.
Ethan
– Boys U16 Single Champion
– Boys U16 Doubles Champion
Iden (challenging U16 instead of U14)
– Boys U16 Single 1st Runner up
– Boys U16 Doubles 1st Runner up (partnering Amar)
Amar
– Boys U16 Single Semi-finalist
– Boys U16 Doubles 1st Runner up (partnering Iden)
Congratulations to the 3 boys on these excellent results and best of luck in the next competition.
