A successful waste campaign at the canteen:

Since the start of this week we have implemented a no single-use packaging policy in the canteen which has been realised successfully. We also have introduced a deposit system of containers for those who forgot to bring their own containers which is RM5 for one container. Most people have managed to remember to bring their own container on the first day which means we have saved HUNDREDS of single use boxes and bags from going to landfill!

Dates for your diary:

Sunday 26th November (8:00-11am) – KIS Beach Clean at Likas Beach in collaboration with Trash Hero Kota Kinabalu. The secondary form group/primary class that gets the most attendees wins a prize! House points available for the house that collects the most trash when weighed.
