These are some activities that I did during my trip to Kuching, Sarawak over the holidays.

I visited my great-grandma and helped her with some gardening work. She planted lots of flowers and vegetables. I think that this is a very sustainable practice in daily life as she can eat what she grows and she can cut down the usage of fuel, which might harm the environment. Furthermore, my brother and I planted some leeks from onions ( which is not in good condition to cook ) other than just throwing them away. It is very surprising that we could already eat them after 11 days. We watered them every day and I could see it growing taller and taller every day. I enjoyed helping with the gardening work.

I also went to a local garden ( KLB garden ) and I enjoyed looking at all the animals and plants there. This place can let us have a fantastic experience with Borneo nature and the peacefulness. I saw that they did some upcycling with tyres to turn them into decorations. Moreover, I went on a nature walk at Ranchan Recreational Park and the view was wonderful. I saw lots of nature and the ground was quite slippery so I had to be really careful.
