Word of the Week! 12.10.2019

It has been another fabulous week for the English department as it has been raining KS3 vocabs.

The winner this week is Timothy, Year 8S, with repugnant – The idea that the president would ignore climate change in favour of keeping his position of power is repugnant. Five points for Sapi.

In runner-up position we have Anny, Year 7S, with rummage – Jock had to rummage through his room in order to find his phone.  Four points for Gaya.

Earning 3 points for Sulug is Myko from Year 7K with unabashed – Olly was unabashed when he crashed the party.

It’s very rewarding for the English department to see so many students from KS3 applying themselves when it comes to vocabs.  Keep up the sterling work!
