WELLBEING NEWS 15.10.2022

Dear KIS Community,

The first week of October has been wonderful for mental health with our KIS Care week. What I was able to observe from the week was, we all came together in promoting mental health and wellbeing. It was really heartwarming for me to see such a supportive community.

My thanks go to everyone who has rendered their time, energy and effort in offering the array of activities during the week. They were such a hit and every activity were quickly filled up. I am sure that the discussion about mental health and wellbeing did not stop at school by the end of that week,  but would continue to be part of the family’s discussion at home.

I hope we will all continue to participate in positive habits by checking in with ourselves daily amidst our busy schedules. Your child has probably picked up several new activities during the KIS Care week, and you might see them enjoying a new pastime at home like stretching, making origami, weaving a friendship bracelet, or maybe even silent ‘disco’ing with fairy lights put up in the corner of their bedroom!

I wish you all well and have a pleasant mid-term break with the family.
