This week’s housepoint battle saw a complete reversal from previous week battles but the race to the top spot was still as close as ever with only 2 points clinching victory for the winning House. Altogether, Primary earned an impressive 749 housepoints so well done to everyone who is continuing to show our KIS attributes and earn housepoints for their House.

The housepoints awarded to each team was:

In 3rd place with 247 housepoints is Sulug!

In 2nd place with 250 housepoints is Gaya!

In 1st place with 252 housepoints is Sapi!

Our congratulations go to Sapi Sunbears for their first win in this final term! Who will we be celebrating as Housepoint Champions next week?!

GO GAYA PANGOLINS! GO SAPI SUNBEARS! GO SULUG SHARKS!!

DOJO CHALLENGE

Primary have reduced, reused and recycled many items from their homes this week and produced some fantastic, useful items out of materials that can live to be used purposefully for a long time to come. I saw some amazing drawer organisers, children’s toys, planters and stationery organisers. Well done to everyone who took part in this challenge! I hope all your homes are benefitting from the fabulous, useful and crafty work of our Primary students.

The Monthly Maths Challenge will return next week for the May Challenge so give your brains time to recharge and be ready to tackle the next maths puzzles and problems!

This week, Our Fun Dojo Challenge gives you a chance to prepare for the upcoming Teachers Day celebrations. For this challenge, you need to design a card that can be given to any teacher. Ms. Ann will be selecting the best 5 designs that will be available for you to choose and purchase. You will then be able to personalise the card with your own message for your teacher to give to them when we celebrate Teachers Day in May. Stay tuned for more news on the beautiful packages of a card and flower that you will be able to purchase for this occasion and raise money for our KIS Charity Committee. For now, enjoy designing amazing cards to celebrate all teachers!

Please share photos of your completed challenges through this Google Form link:
