SECONDARY HOUSE NEWS
in-House #7 reveals the recent winners of the third Six Word Story and the recent House Music competition. You can find the second and third place potions on the House site: https://sites.google.com/kis.edu.my/secondaryhouses/competitions. Also on the episode you will hear from our Quiz leader Richie Ling on what it is like to host the quiz.
Next week is the final week of the KS4&5 House Sport ECA and once concluded we will start the signs ups for the club in Term 2 for all ages. One sport will be Volleyball and the second sport is voted for by the students who sign up.
A reminder to conitnue to enter the Weekly Maths Challenge as the points will be totalled for our end of term result in the coming weeks.
Further, next week will bring a special completion of Limbo where students will try their very best to walk under a bar that gets lower and lower each round.

PRIMARY HOUSE NEWS

HOUSEPOINT TOTAL
As we approach the end of this first term, we look forward to finding out which of our 3 Houses are the current overall champions in the Housepoint Battle. Until then, we enjoy finding out the weekly winners every week and are never surprised by the close race to find the weekly winners!
This week’s total was an impressive 786 housepoints earned by all of Primary. The addition of housepoints from the Beach Clean helped to add to this total and we congratulate Sapi Sunbears who collected 157.8kg of rubbish! Well done to everyone who helped out and earned housepoints for this important event!
Year 3 clinched the title of Weekly Class Housepoint Winners as they earned an impressive 8 housepoints per pupil! Well done Year 3. We are very proud of you all!
The housepoints awarded to our 3 Houses was:
In 3rd place with 258 housepoints is Sapi!
In 2nd place with 263 housepoints is Sulug!
In 1st place with 265 housepoints is Gaya!
Our congratulations go to Gaya Pangolins for clinching a win again this term! I can’t wait to find out who we will be celebrating as Housepoint Champions as this term continues!!

DOJO CHALLENGE THIS WEEK!
Well done to everyone who has taken part in our many recent challenges that we have shared on Dojo each week. We can’t wait to celebrate all the submissions and amazing entries to these challenges in our next Primary assembly.
Now it’s time to find out what challenges you can involve yourself in this week.
The Monthly Maths Challenge will return next week with a new challenge for December. Rest up those maths brains and get prepared for the next challenges coming soon!
The Fun Challenge this week is a celebration for the month of “MOVEMBER”. This is the month where people grow moustaches to help raise awareness of men’s health issues. All through Movember, you have seen members of staff grow their facial hair and now it’s your turn! Just make a moustache you can wear and snap a photo and share it on the Google Forms. All photos for Movember must be submitted by Tuesday 29th November so they can be included in the KIS Movember video!

Ms. Lisa in our Marketing Department may use some of the wonderful challenge submissions each week to celebrate and share your wonderful work through videos created for the KIS newsletter and social media sites.
