HOUSEPOINT TOTALS
It’s the penultimate week for finding out the weekly Housepoint Champions and Primary smashed an overall total of 2,140 housepoints! What an impressive result! This weekly total adds together with all the other totals achieved throughout the year, along with any housepoints earned next week, and we will discover who the overall Housepoint champions are! It’s been a super close race all year and it will be a close race to the end! I can’t wait to find out who will be our champions!
This week, Year 5 were victorious as the Class Champions! They earned an average of 20 housepoints per pupil for all their hard work! Well done Year 5! We are very proud of you all!
In the weekly battle, the battle between the three Houses was close again. The housepoints awarded to each team was:
In 3rd place with 707 housepoints is Sapi!
In 2nd place with 710 housepoints is Gaya!
In 1st place with 723 housepoints is Sulug!
Our congratulations go to Sululg Sharks who clinched another victory this week in Term 3!
GO GAYA PANGOLINS! GO SAPI SUNBEARS! GO SULUG SHARKS!!
DOJO CHALLENGE
The last two fun challenges had lots of great entries but it was Sapi Sunbears who came out victorious with the most submissions. It was wonderful to see all the portraits of the dads in the KIS community and our World Ocean Day challenge inspired lots of water-themed fun at the beach and at home!
Now, for this week’s challenges!
There are no more Monthly Maths Challenges for this academic year. Thanks to everyone who participated in them throughout this year. We look forward to returning with more Maths Challenges in the next school year.
Our final Fun Challenge is celebrating World Rainforest Day which takes place on June 22nd. Enjoy the natural beauty of the rainforest around us and share your outdoor experiences with us to complete this challenge. You could use natural materials to create artwork showing the rainforest or animals that live there. If you’re not up to getting out and about, you could watch a nature documentary or read some fascinating books! Whatever you do, share your entries with us to earn housepoints for your House and complete the final challenge of this year!
Please share your completed challenge entries through this Google Form link:

Ms. Lisa in our Marketing Department may use some of the wonderful challenge submissions each week to celebrate and share your wonderful work through videos created for the KIS newsletter and social media sites. Please use the link above, complete the required information in the Google Form and upload your photos.
If you missed the challenges when they were shared on Dojo on Friday, please check out School Story on Dojo to find the link to the Weekly Dojo Challenge folder.
You can also use this link https://cutt.ly/LfcFEyn to access the folder and find the details for all the challenges shared this week. If you have any questions, please do get in touch via email; sbarlass@kis.edu.my or through Class Dojo messages.
We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible participating with these weekly challenges, but please do remember that all challenges are optional. All entries for all challenges will be awarded with housepoints towards their House Team total, because “Team work makes the dream work!”
Happy challenging KIS!

This remarkable team has made my job so much easier in coordinating all House activities this year due to their passion, commitment and dedication.
All House ECAs are finished for this academic year and we are left with one final activity on the last day of term which will be House Limbo.
There will not be a round up of scores in this week’s newsletter as we will save this for the final day and announce them in assembly to crown our House winners!
There will also be a highlight video of all activities and competitions this year played in assembly and then shared on social media not long after so please look out for that.
Thank you,
Mr Watson
