HOUSE POINT AWARD

Primary never stops earning housepoints and so we continue to award the Housepoint Certificates earned by individuals across the Primary school. It was wonderful to present the awards in our live assembly again this week and it’s great to see the celebration of our achievements with all students showing how proud they are of their peers who are honoured in this way.

Please join me in congratulating the following students for their outstanding achievements.

Congratulations for Bronze Awards this week go to:

Y1: Suhyun

Congratulations for Silver Awards this week go to:

Y3: Henderson

Congratulations to you all! We can’t wait to find out who we will celebrate next week!

HOUSE POINTS

This week saw yet another really close battle in the weekly race to find the Housepoint Winners as only 1 point separated the top and second place Houses. Primary earned an impressive 585 housepoints overall this week and as we approach the final stretch to the end of the year, every housepoint earned is vital in helping us find the overall House winner for this year’s Housepoint Championship! Keep it up Primary…we can’t wait to see how close this race will be!

This week, the housepoints awarded to each team was:

In 3rd place with 192 housepoints is Gaya!

In 2nd place with 196 housepoints is Sapi!

In 1st place with 197 housepoints is Sulug!

Our congratulations go to Sulug Sharks for another win in this final term! Who will we be celebrating as Housepoint Champions next week?!

GO GAYA PANGOLINS! GO SAPI SUNBEARS! GO SULUG SHARKS!!

DOJO CHALLENGE

Primary students have been showing off their artistic talents this week as they created House Mascot logo designs. All of the entries look amazing and now the hard work begins for our judges! They will be selecting winning designs from the Houses which will be displayed around our Primary building!

This is the final week to try out your maths skills with the May Maths Challenge. Find the challenge for your year group in the Google Drive and share your solutions to earn housepoints for your House! All May Maths challenges need to be completed by Friday 27th May 2022.

Our Fun Dojo challenge is focussed on understanding the meaning of Global Citizens. A global citizen is someone who shows they are a member of the world. This week, create a poster to show how you are a global citizen and what you do to demonstrate you are a member of the world. Winning designs from this challenge will be displayed around school!

Please share photos of your completed challenges through this Google Form link:
