HOUSEPOINT TOTALS
I always think the Weekly Housepoint battle can’t get any closer or more exciting than previous weeks. And every week I’m proven wrong as each week the battle gets more exciting and nail-bitingly close! This week was no exception (again!) as we saw all Houses earn a combined total of 848 housepoints. Only 7 points separated the top 2 teams! Well done to everyone who helped their House earn points towards these totals!
The housepoints awarded to each team was:
In 3rd place, with 279 housepoints is Sapi!
In 2nd place with 281 housepoints is Gaya!
In 1st place with 288 housepoints is Sulug!
Our congratulations go to Sulug Sharks for claiming another win in this second term!! Who will we be celebrating as Housepoint Champions in the next half term?!
GO GAYA PANGOLINS! GO SAPI SUNBEARS!! GO SULUG SHARKS!!!
DOJO CHALLENGE
We had the opportunity to celebrate two different fun challenges this week as we looked at results from the Life Thru a Lens; Photographing Red competition and the Memories writing competition.
Our Primary Leadership team and MFL department had the hard task of choosing the winning photos from all entries in the photography competition and we announced the winners in our Zoom assembly. Results have also been shared on Class Dojo so make sure you check out the School Story to see the amazing photos from our winning students: Janesse (Y6), Rochelle (Y1), Hafiz (Y4), Samaira (Y1) and Oli (Y6)!
Congratulations to everyone who took time to enter the Memories Writing competition. We are currently judging all the entries and 1 winning story will be selected from each Key Stage and that will be entered into the official FOBISIA writing competition. News of these results coming soon!
The Monthly Maths Challenge returns for February and there is a challenge for F1&F2, Y1&Y2, Y3&Y4 and Y5&Y6 to attempt. Choose the challenge for your year group and share your solutions. All solutions for the February Maths Challenge are due by Friday 25th February 2022.
For our Fun Dojo Challenge this week, we present you with The Valentine Challenge! Valentine’s Day is celebrated around the world on February 14th and this challenge invites you to do something for those you love. This could be your friends or family. What could you do to show your love? You might want to make a Valentine craft, do a random act of kindness to show your love or share something special together. Spread a little love with this Fun Challenge!
