HOUSE NEWS 06.11.2021

Even during our shorter weeks the Primary students excel and earn Housepoint Awards and we were honoured to have the opportunity to present a small number of Bronze Awards for KS1 and KS2 students!

I’m excited to present these awards every week and even more excited that we are getting close to being able to present our first Silver Awards for 80 housepoints earned!

Congratulations for Bronze Awards this week go to :

Y1: Emir

Y2: Jade and Claudia

Y3: Fabian

Y5: Ashlyn

Y6: Lucy, Marsya, Bryan M, Zidane and Yanis

We cannot wait until we are back in school when we can present you with your certificates! Well done!!

Housepoint Totals

Despite a short week, our Primary students showed their excellent and hard working attitudes as they earned a collective total of 921 housepoints. The Weekly Battle continues to be closely fought and this week was no exception. Only 15 points separated first and third place houses and we’re on the edge of our seats to learn the results each week!

The housepoints awarded to each team was:

In 3rd place, with 300 housepoints is Sapi!

In 2nd place with 306 housepoints is Gaya!

In 1st place with 315 housepoints is Sulug!

Our congratulations go to the Sulug Sharks for their win for two weeks in a row! Who will we be celebrating next week?

GO GAYA PANGOLINS! GO SAPI SUNBEARS!! GO SULUG SHARKS!!!

DOJO CHALLENGES

Primary showed their wonderful sense of humour as they shared a range of jokes and funny videos for the challenge last week. I was amazed at the wide variety of jokes shared and they had me chuckling and laughing uproariously! I can’t wait to share all the jokes in our compilation videos over the coming weeks. If you still want to contribute some jokes, please share them via the Google Forms link for Dojo challenges!

Our Monthly Maths Challenge is back for November. There is a challenge suitable for F1&F2, Year 1&2, Year 3&4 or Year 5&6 challenges! Good luck everyone taking on the maths challenge! All entries are due by Friday 26th November 2021.

This week’s Fun Dojo Challenge gives us the opportunity to pay it forward and spread some kindness to everyone around us. World Kindness Day is celebrated on November 13th and to help us celebrate, you can carry out Random Acts of Kindness for people around you. Download and complete the Random Acts of Kindness Bingo sheet or complete your own kind acts for those around you.

Please share photos of your completed challenges through this Google Form link:

Happy challenging KIS!
