From the PTASC 07.11.2020
We hope everyone had a restful mid-term break. The PTASC are brainstorming on ways to help our community come together (figuratively) during these unprecedented and ever-changing times.
The school will be having its’ international week during November 23-27th. The PTASC are still trying to put on some events during this time to help keep up community morale.
We plan on having an online AUCTION: This includes hampers from our various communities, beautiful paintings by Fi Forsyth, vases painted by Allison Leivers and photography sessions by Anastasia Veldman. The items will be able to be viewed from the 16th onwards (we’ll send out a link via email) and the bidding will go live on the 23rd and will end on Friday the 27th of November.
If you have anything to contribute to the hampers or something to donate for auction, please contact the pta@kis.edu.my or your community focal point in this list (download here). All items need to be photographed for the auction by Friday, 20/11.
VIDEOS: The PTASC is currently putting in place plans to showcase both what a multicultural and caring community KIS is. Watch out for more information next week! For those of you who have already sent in videos. Thank you!
COOKBOOK: The Cookbook is coming along! We are excited that it is coming together so well. We have 23 countries represented, making a 180 page book! The printers have been closed because of the current CMCO, but have opened once again. We are hopeful that we can produce a video of the book to get pre-orders shortly.
