From the PTASC 05.03.2022
KIS nurtures the students to be global citizens by encouraging them to participate in global movements to further their knowledge and inspire them to promote change.
On the last Saturday of March (26th), millions of people across the world will unite to show their support for our planet by switching off power between 8:30pm-9:30pm.
The goal is to raise awareness of nature loss and climate change – the two biggest threats facing our one home.
But Earth Hour is more than just an Hour for the planet – it’s a movement for our future. And it’s more than just a symbol of support – it’s a catalyst for urgent change amidst one of our most
crucial years yet. For further information in regards to the earth hour movement please visit https://www.earthhour.org/
The PTASC would like to encourage all families to participate in this event and send your
images to so we can see how you spent your earth hour.
