From the Principal, 23.02.19
Dear Parents & Guardians,
Hopefully you will have noticed we are developing the format of the KIS Newsletter to improve the flow of information. Please let us know your thoughts of this new style; we encourage constructive feedback. Contact sarahburns@kis.edu.my.
Our U13s at FOBISIA have been doing incredibly well over the past couple of days and we are proud of them all. Some of our older students have also been pushing themselves to excel last weekend and this coming week, through their Duke of Edinburgh expeditions for Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards. Thank you to all the staff who have been able to support our students with their achievements.
More trips are taking place over the rest of this term and a quick reminder to check your emails for all relevant information. If your email address or phone number has changed, please contact the school to update your information.
On Thursday morning we met with the parents of Nicholas Chong and at the end of the meeting Gina Pang, member of the Board of Governors, was able to pass on the collection from the PTASC. In response, Lucas and Vivien Chong would like to thank the school community for the love, care and support they received during their most difficult time of grief. They wish to use this gift towards setting up a trust fund to support gifted children in need.
I wish you all a lovely weekend.
Yours faithfully,
Ian Gross
Principal
