From the Head of Primary 12.10.19
This week our celebration assembly began with the much anticipated ‘Performance Slot’.

Mr Joe a visiting balloon artist and magician, took to the stage to wow the children with his talents. Not only did the children get to witness his brilliant balloon bending but they also marvelled at his magic with eight silver rings. I hope that his performance inspires the children to have a go at performing themselves during our weekly assembly. We are looking for singers, dancers, musicians, sports men and women, jugglers, acrobats in fact any type of interesting performance is welcomed. Are there any mums and dads out there who would like to join us for a turn?
This week saw the return of our Parent Workshops with Mrs Fletcher leading a session all about Class DoJo. As with most homework, please remember that challenges posted on Dojo are optional. Children who choose to take part can win valuable house points for their house team total but they will not be given on an individual basis. Team work makes the dream work!
Our next workshop will be on Wednesday 6th November and is all about the Early Years Foundation Stage (Reception, F1 and F2). This is an opportunity for you to find out more about the Early Years curriculum and how we use Tapestry to assess the children’s learning. More details to follow.
On Monday of next week children are invited to come to school wearing something pink as we raise money and awareness of breast cancer. Children and parents will be able to make donations which will be collected in buckets around Primary or can be given to your class teacher.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend.
