Covers for Microscopes 11.05.19

Students in Secondary were very grateful this week to the kind parents in the Story Sack Sewing Group, particularly Lusi, Victoria and Liz. Previously, they have produced Story Sacks and production costumes for Primary and Beanbags for the Secondary Library. Now we have 20 new Microscope covers to prevent dust from damaging this valuable resource. Students use the Microscopes from Year 7 up to Year 13.

They can observe cells undergoing osmosis and see the details of an insects wing. The microscope covers have been sewn in a number of different colours and so are brightening up the classroom as well as being functional.
