ADEX is coming to KK!

ADEX (Asia Dive Expo) is the largest and oldest trade show in Asia – but not only that, it is actively working on expanding its community and audience and becoming more than just the average diving showcase. Every year this event travels to places such as Singapore, India and China and will, for the first time, be stopping by in Kota Kinabalu from August 18th to 20th. It not only welcomes guest speakers from around the world but also allows displays for dive centers, shops and equipment manufacturers.

I am very honored and excited to be one of the speakers for this expo alongside other experts, marine conservationists, photographers, artists and ocean lovers.

As a part of the event, there will be a 23 hour non-stop reef cleanup where 10 scuba divers will take turns picking up trash from our marine park. I will be one of the Ocean Heroes who will be doing the cleanup alongside conservationist and ADEX ambassador Hidy Yu and French (coincidentally!) award-winning swimmer Ben Lecomte.

Whether you are a diver or not, don’t hesitate to come and listen to the experienced speakers to learn something new about the ocean or any water sport, watch the beautiful mermaid competition and take a chance to win some prizes.

The ocean is such a wonderful place that has managed to tie together a very large community of people and it would be amazing if more youth became a part of it.
