Earth Day 27.04.19

Monday 22nd April was Earth Day, a day to raise awareness of issues that are endangering the planet. This year's theme, Protect the Species, was aimed at raising awareness of species that are critically endangered or on the verge of extinction. Our Primary students all took part in an activity in class discussing how we can help in our everyday lives. The students have written Earth Day Promises which they have pledged to try to keep in order to contribute to protecting our planet. The Primary EcoWarriors have hung some of the promises on two Christmas trees that you can see on display on the way into school. Have a look and see some of the pledges our students have made.
