From the Head of Primary 27.1.2024
Week 3 of our second term has been brimming with excitement, hard work, and remarkable accomplishments!
Embedding Learning Through Creativity:
We are thrilled to report that our students have been diligently embedding their learning through various creative projects. From vibrant artwork to engaging storytelling, it has been heartening to witness the dedication and enthusiasm with which our students have approached their learning journey. We commend every one of them for their efforts in nurturing their skills and knowledge.
1Stop Borneo Program Launch:
Our school had the honor of hosting the launch of the 1Stop Borneo program this week, which involved some of our passionate Eco Warriors. It was inspiring to see our students actively engaging in initiatives aimed at promoting environmental awareness and conservation. We are immensely proud of their commitment to making a positive impact on our planet.
Important Reminders:
Parents, please note that our Primary Learning Conferences will be taking place in just over a week. More information regarding sign-ups for these conferences will be distributed next week. This is an invaluable opportunity for us to discuss your child’s progress and set goals for their continued academic and personal development.
Additionally, we would like to remind everyone that school photos will be taking place on Tuesday and Wednesday. Please ensure that your child comes to school looking their best for these memorable snapshots!
Celebration Assembly:
Finally, let’s give a round of applause to our Stars of the Week, Trashless class winners and Bronze/ Silver certificate winners! These exceptional students have been recognized for their outstanding work and exemplary demonstration of being superb global citizens. Congratulations to each of them for their well-deserved recognition.

I would also like to take this opportunity to welcome some new faces to the primary school:
- Eunice – EYFS
- Lynn – Y5
As we conclude another eventful week, we extend our gratitude to our students, parents, and staff for their unwavering support and dedication. Together, we continue to foster a nurturing environment where every child can thrive and succeed.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Mr Mark Beresford
Head of Primary
