From the PTASC 02.04.2022

The end of the term felt like if we were back to pre-COVID times. The WhatsApp groups were buzzing and there were plenty of activities going on. Our highlight was the ice-cream sales on the last day of the term. Thank you for making that happen!

Hopefully this activity will continue as it has for the past few years because it was great to see so many smiling faces. We also want to thank all of the Storytellers and Book Swappers who contributed to this year’s Book Week. We heard that the children had a really good time listening to the stories told by the parents, and we hope you had the chance to grab one new book or two.

Now that Book Week is over, you might be wondering what could be done with that costume. Search no more. Under the spirit of “Reuse, Reduce and Recycle”, the PTA will be accepting pre-loved costumes next Term.

We plan to establish a “2nd hand” stall for costumes and uniforms at the end of next term. All profits will be reinvested in our children’s needs at School. We will be sending more information about this activity when we come back from the term break.

Finally, we want to congratulate our community for taking part in Earth Hour 2022! If you didn’t have a chance to do anything this year, don’t worry, you always have a chance to do your bit for the environment every day.

We wish you a happy and restful holiday period!
