From the Principal 01.05.2021

Dear KIS Community,

Hard to believe we are now in May and preparations are in full swing for both the end of this academic year and planning for the next. Our older students have begun their exams and continue with these over the rest of this term. The Yearbook is taking shape and teachers are busy preparing activities, end of year assessments and reports. Book week also returns and next week we have a variety of SOP compliant activities to promote the joy and benefits of books and reading.

It’s not just the students and staff who are busy, the PTASC have also been actively preparing for the annual staff appreciation day (after Eid) and the Annual General Meeting (start of June). You can read more about this in the PTA section of the newsletter and also find details of how to join the steering committee for next year.

We are all looking forward to the return of our secondary students and teachers on Monday. In the meantime, today is a public holiday, happy labour day.
